This week we worked on making things that have to do with home and garden. We made a house out of lollipop sticks, paper, and glue. We added rocks and grass from the front yard, and also a pool out of tissue paper. Then we made tissue paper flowers and butterflies. We’ve definitely been staying busy with all of our arts and crafts!

I just love the spring time! The weather is finally warming up again and I so look forward to my garden growing. About 2 weeks ago, we planted wildflower seeds and I’m anxious to see the first sprouts. I also planted zinnia’s in a small window planter around the same time and now there are 4 sprouts! They are the “babies” and are so cute. My nephew gave them kisses today and called them, “baby ‘prouts”! For Memorial Day, we made a red, white and blue star wreath and a patriotic wind sock. Everyone have a safe and happy Memorial Weekend!
